Christmas Time

I’ve made another card for the weekly challenge at scrapping.no, this spring’s third. “Use embossing on your card”. I don’t usually emboss much, it always makes a big mess, and there’s embossing powder everywhere for weeks. I had, however, made up my mind; I was going to participate every week this spring. Challenge myself. Found the embossing powder in a drawer, an embossing folder, and started the mess.

I’ve stamped my Tilda with Memento Rich Cocoa on X-Press it blending card and colored her with Copics. I’ve used blue glitter embossing from Inkido as well as my snowflake embossing folder from Quickutz (invisible in the photo, I know). The ribbon is Hug Snug Seam binding “Winter White”, also colored with Copics. The pearl branch is from Kort og Godt.

PP: “Snøfall” from Poppydesign

CS: white and stonewash bazzill

Stamps: Magnolia “Unwrapped Tilda”, Kort og Godt “God Jul” – “Riktig God Jul”, Inkido “24.12 Post”

Wedding Card

I’ve made a wedding card on order. I must admit I’ve never really been a fan of purple, but I fell in love with the gorgeous design papers from Maja Design. I entered my card in Kort-O-Mania at scrapping.no, this week’s challenge was punches and dies. I’ve used dies from Magnolia and heaps of flowers, mainly from Papirloftet and Papirdesign.

On another note, we would have popped open a bottle of champagne at work today had we had one. Long story short; we finished a project about a year and a half ago, the proprietor wouldn’t pay a fairly large sum, and we sued. The verdict was out today, and we won on all accounts!! A huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders, and we can look forward to new projects. What a great way to end the week!
