Varme tanker {Kort & Godt}

Hi, crafty friends. I’m sharing a one layer sympathy card today, featuring a stamp set from Kort & Godt.

I started by ink blending directly on the card base. I used the Window Panes stencil from My Favorite Things, and Scattered Straw and Mustard Seed Distress inks.

I stamped the image and sentiment using Obsidian ink from Altenew and did some very light pencil coloring using my Prismacolor Premier pencils. I used Goldenrod (1034), Yellow Ochre (942) and Cream (914) for the yellow, and Olivegreen (911) and Limepeel (1005) for the green. I decided not to add embellishments, so this is truly a one layer card, as everything is done on the card base itself.

Hi. I’ve got a somewhat different card to share today, using this beautiful floral stamp from My Favorite Things.

I colored up these flowers for day 20 of the current round of Kathy Racoosin’s 30 day challenge. I wanted a challenge, and a friend told me to color grayscale flowers. I did as she asked and added a purple ink splatter backdrop with my Copics to get a little bit of color in there.

I used my largest faux stitch rectangle die from My Favorite Things and added my panel to a cardbase made from Winter Wisteria cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I stamped and white heat embossed an Inky Wings sentiment and added it to the center bottom half of the floral image.

My last finishing touches were a few sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, and my card was done!

Thinking of you {Mo’s Dream Team}

Hi,everyone! Another Wednesday, and another Mo Manning creation. This time I’ve colored up I forgot with my Copics.

This is another one that I’ve colored for Kathy Racoosin’s 30 day coloring challenge. I’m getting better at putting my colored images to use. I colored this one for day 13 of the challenge back in March, so this cute little elephant hasn’t had to wait too long.

I used the largest of the dies in a faux stitched rectangle die set from My Favorite Things to create my panel and glued it onto a scrap piece of patterned paper from Pion Design that I’d already cut to fit the size of my card. I added a cluster in the top right corner, I’ve got part of a Doodlebug doily, a couple of patterned paper banners (also diecut with dies from My Favorite Things) and a few enamel dots from My Mind’s Eye.

That light pink paper is from the same paper collection from Pion Design as the darker pink (Vintage Garden collection), and the green one with the dots is from Inkido. I stamped a Norsk Stempelblad AS sentiment using Autumn Rose ink from Papertrey Ink, and that finishes my card.

Lots of greys, greens and even blues for this one, even if the card mostly reads as pink. 3

Her kommer ukens andre KOM-kort, skrev i forrige innlegg at jeg lagde to kort, det ble ett “God bedring”-kort og ett kondolansekort. Kondolansekortet kommer her. Veldig enkelt med lite pynt, med andre ord langt unna noe jeg vanligvis lager.

Her har jeg kun brukt hvit glatt bazzill, svart bazzill, fire roser fra Kort og Godt og blonde kjøpt på Stoff & Stil på Alnabru, ellers håndskrift..

Også veldig enkle innsider. Samme svarte bazzill som kant, og har kun brukt en die fra Spellbinders Parisian Accents som “pynt”.

Baksiden er også enkel med samme oppsett, blomsterstempel fra Stempelglede stemplet med Memento Tuxedo Black, har valgt å ikke fargelegge det denne gangen, fant ut at det enkle var det beste.
