Card for a friend

Kort-o-mania (Card O Mania) at scrapping.no is still ongoing, and this is the card I made for week four, which had to be a card for a friend. As usual my card is full of layers, this time it’s a nice mix of Magnolia (“Vintage Pink” from the Sweet Crazy Love collection and “Pink Magic Bubbles” from the Princes and Princesses collection), Inkido (6×6 Forever collection no. 4) and Prima (“Cornwall” from the Pixie Glen collection). I’ve also used Bazzill in Petunia, Limeade and Patina, in addition to Vanilla, which I ALWAYS use!!

I found this cute little Mo Manning image (My Friend) and just had to use it, isn’t it adorable with the dog peeking out from underneath the gate?? As always it’s colored with Copics, the colors I’ve used are at the bottom of the post. The flowers are a mix from WOC and other companies that make paper flowers (I don’t have complete control of my flowers, my flower drawer is nothing but chaos).

I tend to hide tags behind my images on my cards, this time is no exception. The tag itself is made with a Magnolia die, the stamp (Stempelglede) is stamped with Distress Markers Tumbled Glass and Broken China. I’ve colored Winter White seam binding with Copics and added it to the tag, along with white scrapper’s floss and a charm.

Pretty much the same setup on the insides, the perfect pearls mist I’ve used is even discernible in this photo, it’s used on all the patterned papers giving the entire card a nice shimmery effect.

The back. Stamp from Stempelglede stamped with the same distress markers as the tag on the front.

At last the Copics I’ve used to color my image.
