Mor hadde bursdag tidligere i denne uken. I morgen skal vi dit og feire, har derfor laget dette pop up slide-kortet til henne med de nye papirene til Pion Design. Den brune posen som også er pyntet med Pion-ark inneholder veldig god kaffe (tror jeg da) med sjokoladesmak og et snev av mint.

Mother’s birthday was earlier this week. Tomorrow we are going over there to celebrate, I’ve made her this pop up slide card with the new papers from Pion Design. The brown bag that has also been decorated with Pion papers contains very good coffee (at least I think it’s good), chocolate flavored with a hint of mint.

Motivet er “Coffee Break” fra Lili of the Valley, fargelagt med Copics, som alltid. Kartongen er faktisk Coredinations Weathered Wood. Planen min var å bruke Bazzill Stonewash, for blåfargen der passer perfekt til det blå i Förgätmigej-arket fra Pion, men jeg hadde ikke mer Stonewash igjen i kartongsamlingen min, så Coredinationskartongen måtte duge, ble ikke så ille likevel. Sommerfuglene er også fra Pions siste kolleksjon og er på “Bårder”-arket.

The image is “Coffee Break” from Lili of the Valley, colored with Copics, as always. The cardstock is actually Coredinations Weathered Wood. My plan was to use Bazzill Stonewash, the blue in the Stonewash cs matches the blues in the “Forget me not” paper from Pion Design perfectly, but I was out of Stonewash. The Coredinations had to do, but I don’t think it turned out all that bad. The butterflies are also from Pion Design’s latest collection, it’s part of the “Borders” paper. 

En ekstra titt på motivet. Fargene jeg har brukt kommer nederst i innlegget som vanlig.

An extra peek at the image. The colors I’ve used are at the bottom of my post, as usual.

Kortet oppslått. Jeg liker effekten av å kunne dra i en tag, og så blir hele kortet plutselig noe helt annet. Har stemplet “Klem til deg” fra Stempelglede og sommerfuglene fra Inkido med Memento Summer Sky. Denim-perler fra Kaisercraft under motivet og i hjørnene på selve kortet, de hvite perlene på den punchede kanten er Liquid Pearls i Opal White.

The card standing upright. I like the effect of pulling a tag, and have the card totally change. I’ve stamped “Klem til deg” (hug for you) from Stempelglede and the butterflies from Inkido with Memento Summer Sky. Denim pearls from Kaisercraft below the image and in the corners of the card itself, the white pearls on the punched edge are Liquid Pearls in Opal White.

Lagde kortet dobbelt, så jeg fikk  plass til en ordentlig hilsen inni. Brukt mer av “Förgätmigej”-arket her, baksiden denne gang. Tekststempelet fra North Star Stamps er stemplet med Memento Summer Sky, det samme gjelder sommerfuglene fra Inkido. Brukt en tag fra “Tagsark” til både og stemple på og å skrive en personlig hilsen på på høyresiden med Copic-penn i 0.7. Syns det blir litt hardt med svart mot det lyseblå, men Mementotusjer i samme farger som jeg har stempelputer i står på handlelisten min. Jeg skal til Bikuben på onsdag, så da kommer de nok med hjem skal du se!!

I made my card double, so I’d have space for a proper greeting inside. I’ve used more of the “Forget me not” paper, the back this time. The text on the left is a stamp from North Star Stamps, also stamped with Memento Summer Sky, the same as the butterflies from Inkido. I’ve used a tag from the “Tags” paper to stamp on and to write a personal greeting on on the right hand side with a Copic pen in 0.7. I don’t really think the black fits with the pale blue, but Memento markers in the same colors as my stamp pads are on my shopping list. I’m going to Bikuben on Wednesday, the markers will probably come home with me, just wait and see!!
