Hi everyone! I’ve got a Halloween project for you today for Mo’s Dream Team. It might seem a bit late, but this candy box was published in the October issue of Ett trykk and made some time this summer, so I really wasn’t late at all.
I don’t really make Halloween cards, so I had to think of something else for our Halloween article, and this is what I came up with. It’s a box I made for my niece, for her to put Halloween candy in. She’s a huge fan of purple and lilac, so I made my project a little cute with Mo’s Halloween Fairy and some patterned papers by Maja Design and Papirdesign.
When you open the lid, there’s plenty of room for candy inside.
I made the bat a couple of years ago using black cardstock. I cut the shape of the bat using scissors, then added a thick layer of Wink of Stella trapped underneath an even thicker coat of Glossy Accents. You can sort of see a little of the sparkle in the photo, but it sparkles a lot more in real life. I added a strip that says “scariest of the night” from a piece of Papirdesgn patterned paper, and that’s actually it for my box.
