Hi, and welcome! I wanted a challenge last week, so I asked a couple of former CMN team mates for ideas. Liz wanted me to color Best Pals, preferably in no lines, and Kjersti wanted to see orange – lots of it. I normally print my no line images at 10 % opacity, but this time it was at 4.5 % when I was done with it in Photoshop. That’s nearly invisible, even in daylight before it’s colored, and a lot more difficult to see at night once you’ve got some color on there. As if that wasn’t enough, the image is very detailed. But I persevered and used my image to cover the entire front of a top fold A2 card, made with some Orange Zest cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I was supposed to have lots of orange, after all.
I wanted to keep the focus on my image without covering it up too much, so I decided on a strip of vellum with an embossed sentiment going across the card. I added a second Norsk Stempelblad AS sentiment, heat embossed it on that Orange Zest cardstock, and popped it up using some foam squares. I added three Papirdesign enamel dots to finish off my card.
And what a masterpiece this is. I just realised I haven’t even coloured this image yet. How sad, I have it in my library yet have missed it. Must print up and colour but I do not think I am game enough to go no lines. So talented you are, they look wonderful.
