Magnolia Birthday

I’ve made another birthday card with this cute little Tilda, she’s so versatile. After a serious “scrapper’s block”, it’s good to get started again.

The patterned papers are all from Magnolia: Light Pink Rainbow Flowers from the “Sweet Rainbow” collection, Grandma’s Wallpaper from the “You Are So Special” collection; and Rosy Butterfly from the “Butterfly Dreams” collection.

The tag is a Magnolia doohickey, the “Du er enestående! Ta vare på deg selv” stamp is from Stempelglede, so are the ones on the inside of the card. I’ve used distress ink Victorian Velvet on the tag, the ribbon is Hug Snug in Winter White colored with BG72 and BG 75, then sprayed with a little bit of Blender. The butterfly charm is from Kort og Godt. The “Bliss” pearls are from Kaisercraft.

The pretty pink flowers I’ve used are from WOC, and the white one is from Kort og Godt. The bling is also from Kort og Godt.

The cute little Tilda is colored with Copics, colors used are at the end of the post. I’ve torn some of the papers I’ve used, and inked most of them with fluid chalk creamy brown. I’ve also taken out my trusty sewing machine for this card.

The first inside contains the lyrics to a birthday song (stamp from Stempelglede), and the little butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch. I’ve put Liquid pearls “Flamingo” on the butterfly, and the swirl stamp I’ve used repeatedly on the edge of the panel is also from Stempelglede.

The second inside has plenty of room for a special birthday greeting.

I’ve made the back of the card very simple. I’ve used a couple of spellbinders dies, another WOC rose and more butterflies from MS.

Another shot of the front. I’m entering my card in the following challenges:

The Crafty Pad #134 – Cute ‘n Girly

Flutter By Wednesday #166 – Open

Stampalot challenge – August: Whatever You Fancy

Tuesday Throwdown #61 – Birthday

Craft Your Days Away Challenge #26 – Birthday Celebrations

Anything Goes Challenge #47 – Happy birthday/celebration

Finally, as promised: the Copics I’ve used to color my image.

I made top 6 at Tuesday Throwdown with this card.
