Dette er det siste dåpskortet i en rekke på fire som min tante har bestilt. De tre foregående finner du her, her og her.
This is the last christening card in a series of four that my aunt has ordered. The other three you can find here, here and here.
Som de fleste andre dåpskortene i denne bestillingen er det ikke akkurat et typisk dåpskort dette her, mottakeren av dette dåpskortet er snart fire år, så en brannmann med Maja Design-papirer må jo passe bra.
Like most of the other christening cards in this order it’s not your typical christening card, the recipient of the card is nearly four years old, so a firefighter with Maja Design patterned paper fits nicely.
Motivet er “Playing Firefighter” fra Mo Manning, som alltid har jeg fargelagt med Copics. I tillegg har jeg her stemplet rundt kantene på motivet med Inkidos “Stars”-stempel, har brukt dabber fra Adirondack i fargen Aqua til det. Funket fint siden jeg ikke har stempelpute i riktig farge, men det var en ekstra liten utfordring å rense akrylmalingen fra stempelet.
The image is “Playing Firefighter” from Mo Manning, as always colored with Copics. In addition I’ve stamped around the edges of the image with Inkido’s “Stars” stamp, I’ve used dabber from Adirondack (Aqua) for that. It worked great since I don’t have a stamp pad in the right color, but getting the acrylic paint off the stamp itself was a bit of a challenge.
En liten titt på “pynten” på kortet. Har stemplet stjernestemplene fra “Psychedelic Grunge”-settet til Tim Holtz med den samme dabberen som på motivet, samt memento “Lady bug” og “Bamboo Leaves”. Fant frem noen pebbles jeg hadde liggende og satte oppå for litt dimensjon. En pepperkakestjerneform topper det hele.
A little peek at the “embellies” on the card. I’ve stamped the star stamps from Tim Holtz’ “Psychedelic Grunge” set with the same dabber as the one I used on the image, as well as memento “Lady bug” and “Bamboo Leaves”. I found a few pebbles I had lying around and added for dimension. A gingerbread cut out star to top it off.
Har stanset ut en tag der jeg har stemplet det samme stjernestempelet som ellers og et dåpsstempel, samt skrevet navnet til dåpsbarnet og dåpsdatoen på, og festet litt turkis twine.
I’ve made a tag, stamped the same star stamp randomly on the ends as well as a christening stamp. I’ve written the name of the little boy and the christening date on the tag and added a little turquoise twine.

Og en enkel bakside. Det samme “Drømme..”-stempelet fra Stempelglede som resten av søskenflokken har fått.
